We undertook a complete upgrade of this late-Victorian detached villa, forming a new kitchen/dining space, bathrooms and a large loft extension to make use of the dramatic rooftop views towards the Dee Estuary.
Sustainable, energy-saving measures were introduced, including internal insulation to all external walls and reinstatement, with new plaster and decorative mouldings and joinery to match the originals, and new sash windows to match the original design. The design allowed for later introduction of solar panels and a heat recovery system.
