This large Edwardian villa was compromised by a conservatory which blocked access and views from the house to the rear garden and was also uncomfortable to use in both winter and summer. We replaced the conservatory with a new contemporary extension providing a large open kitchen/dining space and new utility room, shower and cloak room.
A wide raised terrace forms an intermediate space between the house and the main garden, beneath a bespoke aluminium pergola designed to give shading in the summer, but to optimise sunlight in the winter.
“We are very satisfied overall. Richard and Andrew were very thorough and helpful throughout. We would recommend Cass to others for similar project.”
